Hi,
I appreciate any help. I have a Gradient as in my picture and I get always Banding or Stepping Lines. Photoshop does a better job here.
Does anybody know what is wrong?
Thanks!
I have found that Gaussian Blur reduces banding.

That is true. I think there are some Filters working, which in case of PS are automatically working, but in Corel you need to apply them manually.
I also read about the Gaussian Blur. What makes it hard is that you need to find good values for the filters. In PS it is done automatically. I did not figure out which values for the blur or other filters are used to get the same effect like in PS.
First I do not read your native language but it appears that in Photoshop you're using relative colorimetric rendering with black point compensation turned on.
That is a non ICC compliant default used by Adobe, you can change both applications to perceptual rendering. Try WCS or LCMS color engine in PP.
It seems working better now. Thanks.
