Ever since I downloaded the 2020 Cdr trial and uninstalled it (wasn't worth it for my workflow) 2018 has started crashing after months of stability. I carried on using 2018 after quickly finding 2019 unreliable and never had a problem. I'm a long yerm Cdr user and have long accepted the occassional crash but I'm suddenly finding 2018 crashing on a regular basis - hangs and then vanishes. Crashed this morning on a simple outine trace.

Maybe you could try a Repair from the CDGS 2018 setup?
Hi Ronnie. I tried that - no good. Crashed again doing a simple line art trace of a small bitmap. I've carried out that process, or similar, a hundred times and no problem before. I didn't want to but I'll probably have to do a reinstall from disc..
This is a probably stupid question, but is it possible that something was left behind of the trial 2020 that's impacting on the earlier versions?
