I bought 2019 and have never used it. Every time I buy a new copy of Corel Suite I end up using my old version. I even made a new Menu bar so I could read it in Win 10. The main reason I keep using 5 is because of the customization of the tool bars. So today I tried using 2019 again so I could remember why I didn't use it. I saw right away that my custom tool bars under the menu bar are one of the problems. The tools will only go 3/4s of the way across the width of the total page. They seem to stop at the point where the dockers would be when open. So anything that would be in the tool bar will not cross this invisible line and I get the little > signs to show me the one extra thing in that tool bar. I have created the same tool bars in every version of this program. It is the way I work and I don't want to have to open the tool bar via the arrow because it is one tool tool big especially when all of them would fit if the extra space was used across the whole page. Plus this is the slowest version yet. It seems to take forever for pages to open and even tools seem to lag. I hope this has a fix by now and then maybe I can move on to finding out the reason it is so slow.
you have to move the dividers to the right to allow the space to show what you need.
Is there a size limit on file uploads? I keep getting an error.
From your screenshot, it looks to me as though you might have some "empty" toolbars in there (to the right of the toolbars that have buttons on them). You can't "slide" the divider back and forth on the empty toolbar, so that would keep you from sliding the toolbar that is immediately to the left of it.
You might right-click on that area, then uncheck "Lock Toolbars". That makes the "handles" for the toolbars visible, and you can use that to drag a toolbar to/from different parts of the UI. You could use that to undock a toolbar from that part of the UI by dragging it somewhere else.
You could also try looking at Windows>Toolbars to see what toolbars are available, and if they are visible.
Thanks I will give t hat a try later.
Well, I have spent 2 hours fooling with the tool and command bars (tool bars to me). I found I got rid of the >> on the top bar but not on the bottom bar. Unlocking the tools worked in that I could space them across the width of the page but still the last tool bar on the row would have that extra drop down no matter how much space was there. I also can't seem to keep the context menu open. I check it and it seems as if it is a floating bar and then when I close the the customization menu it also disappears. I found a lot of tool bars I guess I had made and deleted them not realizing that you had to have a check in the box in order to delete them. At least I only have two of my custom tool/command bars that have that stupid >> drop down. I put the tool I use least on the end so it isn't a huge deal that I have to do a drop down to get it.Also I was looking for a way to turn off the welcome screen and went to the help>message settings and I can't access anything in help. It seems as if none of those pages are available??? I have no way to get to the users guide. I had to do a control/alt/delete because it hung after asking me to refresh the page. Besides how slow it is also working I remember why I never used this program.
