just happened today. Every time I create some kind of new artwork, I always export it to .jpg before sending it to the customer
for approval..Today it quit working. It goes through the routine, I click on export, pick .jpg, and the export to box comes up, but the file is not created
So I did the F8 reset which of course created a couple of new probs for me such as deleting my custom settings such as making the outline a hairline and now it defaults to .5 but it didnt
help.
Anybody have a solution for me?
Thanks
And yes I did search all over the computer for the files but they aint there
UPDATE!! First off this is in the wrong forum--I have 2017
But anyway, Corel sez they don't support 2017 anymore and try coming over here for support..
couple of things.
1. Make sure when the first dialogue box opens that you have "Selected only" checked.
2. Close corel, dump temp files - hit start, type %temp% then enter, delete all that mess, restart corel
3. why jpg? We use png. Why CMYK? makes the file size larger. We use rgb.
I'm looking around, I dont see a "selected only'. But no matter.. When I draw something, as in my case, aircraft dial faces, i export them to .jpg and insert them in an email to the customer for approval. Right now, starting last Monday, I cant export to anything-jpg, png, gif, etc. my files are really smail, less than a meg sometimes. I've been doing this for almost 20 years and why an aspect of the program quits on me is a head scratcher.
Thanks for your feedback
I had this problem many years ago, it was caused by Windows 120mps.dll, or so, it slipped my memory till now, so I cannot remember right details. I had to reinstall that Windows 7. Have a look at forum, it has been resolved here yet.
