Legit purchase from Corel downloaded and installed.
Can't get past this screen whatever I try.
1. If I fill it in as a new user I get and “unknown error” message 2. If I use my existing account I get a “connect to the internet” message even though I am connected to the internet and Corel Draw etc. are “allowed” through the firewall.
hello, i have exactly the same problem with a reinstall of corel 2019. Corel support is a nightmare. Whatever i try (regedit, account disable, uninstall/install on an another computer), i have the same messages like you. If you find a solution...I'm searching on my side and if i find something, i will say to you. Courage !
thank you. I'm going to do the same thing ! even i'm not a native english speaker :-). I'm a little doubtful with their answer. Because if i install my licence on my old windows 7 computer, i have no problem. I try with three others computers on windows 10 pro and same problem as you. I even uninstall the 2004 update which generates many problems. What is your OS for example ?
My words, please feel free to paraphrase.
Pease do me the courtesy of acknowledging that this Ticket is being dealt with.
The total lack of response from you is unacceptable.
I have had this software for over 48 hours now and not been able to enter any of the programs.
The software is legitimate and registered with you.
Cleverbridge download and installation went well but I cannot get past the “Let us get to know you” screen.
All my other apps that need the internet are working as they should and yet this package cannot apparently connect.
I believe you may have a server problem

Just got mine sorted.
You need to activate the "Hidden" User Account in W10:
net user administrator /active:yes
(Replace “yes” with “no” to disable the admin account on the welcome screen.)
Then you need to log in to this account and navigate to:
C:\Windows\Sytem32\drivers\etc
Double click on this and open in Notepad.
Remove any lines at the end after:
# 1 localhost
Save the file , you can only do this as a full Administrator
And off you go , I hope.
Best of luck and please let me know how you get on.
(OS W10 home fully up to date)

Whoa ! thank you very much. I'm happy that your Corel works now. Unfortunately, i had to reinstall properly my windows 10 pro one hour ago. I think the 2004 update is the origin of the problem and is related to your solution. Indeed, it was too a problem of localhost and ip protocol. Now i'm just trying my Corel (15 minutes ago) and it works too ! Alleluia !
I keep your solution in mind if the problem will back again in the future. But i'm seriously thinking to change my software in the coming months. Corel (and evenmore Adobe) becomes expensive and their assistance useless. May be for the Affinity products. Many coworkers of mine are using Affinity photo, designer and publisher and are very happy.
Thank you very much for this exchange Don. It was a pleasure despite my "french froggy" english (my apologies) .
Fred
Your Franglaise is far better than my French!
