hey guys!
i need to calculate some object shape length lets say ( pizza outline shape )
corel can only show the length but u cant edit or change it..
so any idea of how to do it for ex :
i want a 100cm length ,, i only can change height and width
so i put like
20cm h and 15 w it give me 100cm length..
anyway to calculate it ? any apps or something ??
If you want your pizza shape to be 100 centimeters in length do the following:• Select the pizza shape.• Open the Properties docker and click on the "Curve" icon.• Look at the Length of Curve value (in centimeters) and write down the value.Open your calculator. Type in 100 centimeters and divide that by the Length of Curve value you recorded. Take the resulting quotient and move the decimal two stops to the right. That will be the percentage you need to scale your object to be 100 centimeters in length.
thix sir
i did not understand this part
can u post a vid ?
"Take the resulting quotient and move the decimal two stops to the right. That will be the percentage you need to scale your object to be 100 centimeters in length."
Here's another example. Let's say your pizza shape has a Curve Length of 32.785cm and you want the length to be 100cm. Using a your computer's calculator divide 100 by 32.785cm. The answer is 3.050175 (plus some more extra digits). That means your desired curve length is 3.050175 times larger than your existing shape. That means you need to increase the size by 305.0175%. That's what I mean by "moving the decimal point over two places to the right" to get the correct percent scale figure to enter.
thx so much.
