Here you can see the default units set to inches but is there some way to show Feet and Inches or add another box that shows decimal feet? Like this: 211.19" 17.6'
I don't think that there is any straightforward way for a user to do that using normal CorelDRAW options.
Our friend bonus630 describes a way to do it in this thread: can we see 2 units of measurements.
Question:
Do you need to be able to CHANGE the size of the selection in alternate units? Or would it be sufficient to just SEE the size of the selection in alternate units?
The latter might be fairly easy to do with a VBA macro.
it would be sufficient to just see the size.
Just for giggles I downloaded the zip file as instructed at the link you provided. The directions skipped the step about "unzipping" the file after downloading but I'm "smarter than the average bear". After unzipping and restarting my X7 I see the magic. Pretty cool.
As Eskimo pointed out that post will tell you how to do it. Then you just need to:
Change the bottomDisplayUnit and topDisplayUnit Unit to 7:
bottomDisplayUnit='7'topDisplayUnit='7'
In the AppUI.xslt file.
