I'm having trouble saving a file to PDF. The page size is 288"x36" and when I save it as a PDF and open it in Acrobat, the size comes in as 200"x36" with an error that says the page is out of range. This issue just started happening. Can anyone help me with this issue?
200" maximum is a serious limitation with Adobe Acrobat. But you can bypass this limitation if you follow these steps:
1. Export your file using eps format
2. Open the eps file in Acrobat Distiller to generate a pdf file
3. Use Adobe Acrobat to open the pdf file saved from Distiller and you will see that it will open with the correct dimensions.
You can even use this method to generate larger files which are beyond the 200" barrier.
It might not be the best of workflows, but what I am saying is it's possible to view a file on Acrobat beyond the 200" limitation.
