So I've always had this issue but it seems to be consistently getting in my way today. Is there some kind of setting thats turned off or on to make this happen? You can seen the green area I selected precisely and now every selection after that seems to be guessing what I want to be selected. I want it to only select exactly what I tell it to select. What can I do to make that happen?

Play with the Tolerance setting in Property Bar to see if it makes any difference.Increase to 50 for example.
Seems to make no difference. I was able to complete the selection. But It would only select the areas I selected if I zoomed in at a certain distance. Some places, especially the higher detailed places, I had to zoom in further for it to select shape I was making.
