So I've had a lot of PC/ Corel Issues Today but I finally managed to get one thing done. But now when I open files it says fonts are missing and to substitute them with other fonts. This happens occasionally and I can usually just select the same font that it says is missing, but in this case Corel cannot see the fonts I've installed. So I tried reinstalling multiple different fonts and it doesn't fix the issue.
Whats going on here and how can I fix this? Do I just need to repair Corel? Maybe reinstall it? Maybe its an issue on the PC end? I don't really have time right now to do all that So I'm gonna just convert the text to curves on another devices for now and work with that until I have more time to fix this.
So I tried to repair Corel and that helped a little bit. I could choose installed fonts in the substitute font menu, but when the file was opened the fonts were just replaced with Arial. So that didn't work.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled and its acting the same as when it was repaired. Although for some reason it saved most of my settings and color palettes which makes me feel like it wasn't actually fully uninstalled...
Try saving file WITHOUT embedding the fonts in the SAVE dialog box.I don't know why, but there's a bug hidden in there. Without embedding the fonts, this error doesn't appear any longer.
