4 years ago, Microsoft did an update that caused my Object menu and several other tools down the sidebar to disappear. The same thing has happened and rather than mess around with all the things we tried last time, I just went ahead and uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Much to my dismay, nothing changed. My tools are still missing. While trying to figure out how to reobtain them, I accidentally also deleted the top menu bar, so now I can't do anything! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again and that too is still missing!! AAaauugghhh!!! Anything I do seems to carry over to the new install. Can someone please tell me how to get my tools back?? I've got a 8 to 12-page newsletter I'm running late on.This is the conversation I previously had with Ronny Axelsson (Ronny, you still there?): Where are my tools and why are my PDFs all wonky? - CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 for Windows - CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 - CorelDRAW CommunityIncidentally, I did try the repair function before uninstalling/reinstalling and no cigar.
alt+w / toolbars? Typically the right side stuff are "dockers" also under Windows/Dockers
just "spit balling" here.
Thanks, Myron. I opened Corel and the Menu up top is back, although Object is still missing, so I can't align things, group or manipulate them in the layers. The tools in the toolbox to the left are still messed up. There are tools that I never used before and some of the ones that I do use (i.e. drop shadow) are not. I just don't understand why they didn't go back to the default toolbox when I reinstalled the program. I did come across a list of all the tools (of course, now I can't remember where) and they were all had checked boxes indicating them as being on. The only thing I could do was uncheck and recheck the tools I wanted, but it didn't make any difference.
??? I can't even tell what language this is to put it through a translator.
The tools I was missing were primarily to the left, although the Object menu, up top, was missing as well. I did finally figure it out after reinstalling Corel 4 times...although, at this point, I can't remember what else I did. I did write the procedure down somewhere that I can hopefully find if I ever need it again. No doubt that won't work either and I'll have to come up with something else entirely.
