Hi everyone, I've been having serious problems lately trying to import PDF files with text inside.
The file is opened normally but the formatting of the texts is completely wrong making it unusable. I would like to know if there have been other reports and if there is a solution to the problem. The most absurd thing is that a free program like InkScape imports them perfectly and maintains the correct formatting -_-...I thank you for your help.

Things seem to be going off the rails when the text changes to a different typeface.
Several separate pieces of text that should be "spread out" horizontally within a line of text are all instead "piled up" on the left hand side.
I tried the PDF with Illustrator CS5, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher, and they all recreated the content pretty good except for the missing fonts that were replaced.Surely Draw should be able to do it too but is seems to have problems where the text shifts in the middle of a text line (as Eskimos says), from black Regular to blue Bold and back.Illustrator splits these lines up where the font changes, but the result looks fine.Affinity manages to keep several lines of text together, also with the color and font changes.
I used to be able to import pdf files into CorelDraw and edit them. I can no longer do this. For some reason any text loses all formatting and defaults to Arial 24pt size.It would be very helpful to findout why this happens now.
Ah ha, I have just found a way to almost remedy the problem. I have exported the pdf as an encapsulated postscript file which I then import into CorelDraw. Almost all of the formatting is there except one or two line endings. I can easily enough fix those.Worth trying this for anyone experiencing similar problems.
