I just bought CorelDraw2020 since I had so many problems with 2019. And it's crashing all the time! I'm doing normal actions - selecting, using the shape tool, on standard .cdr files. I try to save all the time, but I can't save every 10 seconds, and I keep losing a few minutes of work with every crash (not to mention restarting the program and opening all my files.) What is going on?
To clarify: first the program freezes, then it just closes.
I have similar problems with CDR 2020 Standard. I changed my older CDR to CDR 2020 this may. But it crashes frequently and it has a lot of other problems, ie. export to .jpg doesn’t work correctly.
Some of the crashings occured when I was worked with older cdr files. This problem was partially solved with a .cdr >.cmx >.cdr conversion of the older files. The export to .jpg problems (missing borderline, poor quality) are still unsolved.
Corel support was helpful in the beginning but they couldn’t solve all the problems and after a while they didn’t answer.
