I have been having a hard time with rasters in and out of wireframe, this is been going on since about version 14 and today I had enough hehe
When you zoom in it get slow and choppy, the more you zoom in, the slower and choppier it gets
I downloaded the trial version of 2020 and it is not much better
I have an intel i7 6700K, 64 gigs of ram, Nvidia Quadro k2200 and a Samsun 970 SSD
The computer is no slouch, you look at the task manager and corel is hardly using any resources
I would try the routine trouble-shooting measures. Check if the version of CorelDRAW you're using has all the latest patches (which is hardly any in the case of CorelDRAW 2020). Make sure the device drivers in your computer (not just the video card) are also up to date. Sometimes "cleaning" utilities that get rid of all sorts of temporary files in the computer can make a difference. If those steps don't do the trick I would consider uninstalling CorelDRAW completely and then reinstalling it after the other stuff is updated.
That is pretty much what I have done to try to eliminate whatever you don't see
I installed a fresh copy of windows 10, did all the updates, installed the newest drivers
from Nvidia for the graphics card all the newest Intel chipset etc.. drivers
after that was all done I installed the trial of Corel draw 2020
I did not find it any better if anything it was worse, and I found a few little things that made me even madder haha
why change something after many years haha +

That doesn't make me feel very good about the prospects of buying a tricked out new computer, especially if CorelDRAW will still run sluggishly on it.
I would probably save you money unless someone at Corel says buy these specks
I built this thing around 5 years ago I went as big as I can before the cost of parts skyrocket
I spend a good 6000$ and all that was just to make Corel better and it did not do much ;(
mind you the computer is nice, super-fast, etc.. but its complete crap with the new build of Windows 10
I am going to look into making a slim version with NTlite I used it before it works well
I was thinking of getting an Nvidia 3090 hoping that would fix it or at less help but the prices are crazy

What I don't get is I have all this power and Corel only uses around 1% to 5%, use at less 50% or 75% ;)
and with Corel 2020 I find it slower in enhanced mode then 2018
Have you tried your files on any other computer, to make sure it isn't a hardware issue?Not sure but I think I've heard that some NVidia cards don't work well with Draw, but I have no personal experience so it may be wrong.FWIW, I'm usually on rather basic rigs, Intel i3 or i5 with integrated graphics, and I can't say that I have any serious issues with lag, but it may depend on the files too of course.
