Hi, I have updated to CD20 and haven't been able to find how to remove a hyperlink off imported text - Can anyone help please. I have untick the hyperlink option under tools.Thank you
In previous version we could open the Internet docker and select the text with the Text tool (highlight hyperlinked text or all text). Then, in the docker, highlight the text in "URL" field and delete it.Hit Enter. There is no longer an "Internet" docker, it has been replaced with "Links and Rollovers", but I assume you could do the same from there.Give it a try and let us know.
When I try the procedure you describe - deleting the text in the "URL" field - it does not work for me.
I've tried it in 2020, and also in 2018 and X7; no joy.
I haven't tried with an imported hyperlink but it works if I I type an address in Draw with "Automatically create hyperlinks..." active, to create the blue and underlined characters. If I then select the text with the Text tool (important, not the Pick tool), and finally delete what's in the URL field in Links and Rollovers docker and hit Enter or Tab, it goes back to normal text.Tried both 2018 (Internet docker) and 2020 (Links and Rollovers).
OK, I just tried it now, in 2020, on a different machine.
It works for Artistic text, but I can't get it to work for Paragraph text.
You are right, Eskimo, it doesn't seem to work with Paragraph text. What a mess.
This did work but by using the tab key not the enter. I understand this method when you create the hyperlink in CorelDraw but seems clumsy when the hyperlink is imported. Thank you for your help Ronny.

Agree 100%; what a mess!
After so many years, CorelDRAW should have a clean, easy way to do this.
