Hello,
I recently moved from X6 to 2020 and I've noticed strange issue. Moving mouse over Corel UI cause very high CPU core usage - almost 100%. It happens even on fresh start, with no document opened. This doesn't happen to that extend in X6 - it's around 25% at best. Same thing on two different machines, both running Windows 10. I've tried decreasing mouse polling rate and DPI, no avail. Everything is up to date. Clean install doesn't help. Ia this normal behaviour? I'm generally not pleased with overall performance of Corel 2020 comparing to X6.
My specs:
AMD Ryzen 3600/3400G16 GB RAMNVMe SSDNvidia GeForce 2060 Super
My installations of X5, X7 and 2018 all exhibit the same behaviour. Very near full usage of one CPU core just moving the mouse in an almost empty document (Idrew one unfilled rectangle in each) .
So your behaviour in X6 is the unusual one!
Are you guys running a wireless mouse?
Huh. What OS you're running? I've just remembered that after upgrading to Win10 my X6 started to run slower. Maybe some system update broke it?
I've tested this on two wired gaming mouses and generic wireless one. Same result.
When you're running Ryzen systems Corel can be interesting. I have one that runs Draw fine and I've done nothing, but I know 20 that work poorly for every one that runs ok.
