Hi there, I have just updated to the subscription v2022. And I'm finding it keeps crashing on me. I have experienced crashing in the past on v2020 because it hasn't liked the fonts. But this is crashing for no reason I can see. Is this happening to others of just me - tempted to go back to v2020
I have that too. Sometimes when I am switching pages, or drawing circle, or just zooming around. It just freezes for a second than silently crash to desktop without any fanfare. Just finished second repair minutes ago.
How annoying. For me it seems to be when I try to print or convert to pdf. And no freezing - it just instantly closes. It's very unstable. No crash report either.
I have task manager open to see if anything strange happen. When it freezes and crash a second later all I found was a little spike in memory usage that gone down after program silently crash itself to desktop.
That repair I mentioned helped nothing too.
I got some lesson upgrading from 2020 to 2021 so I still have 2021 on the machine. After redrawing the same thing 4 times just to have it crashes few minutes into my art time I just save as the file to previous version and continue my work on 2021.5. The performance is in no way better than the stable of 2020 but at least it's not crashing! For now, seems like I can work on small files, but big files with a lot of complex objects is too risky.
Hope we get 2022.1, or CorelDraw April 2022 Subscription exclusive update, or whatever they will call soon. That 2021.5 is too late and I hope they don't repeat that.
I agree, I think it is a memory issue as files are slower to open as well.
It's definitely not an upgrade from 2020.
I'm seeing it as well. Constant crashing with no rhyme or reason. If it were one thing, I could figure out a work-around, but it's everything and anything.
I was a tier-1 beta tester for many years. Typically, we would look at things like: memory leaks, driver issues, etc.
For me, the app some times freezes. I keep Task Manager open and what I'm seeing are 4 files:
It's strange that a crash handler would be launched after opening a CorelDraw 2022 file. Obviously, the app is creating some sort of log file, but I don't see it being forwarded to Corel.
