Hey guys,
So, I am trying to create an outline, that I can then use to cut out the image. I know how to create outlines, but the issue I am having is that if the image isn't already a perfect outline, selecting hairline or boundary goes into the design, rather then creating a border/outline.
I have been practicing on a random image just to learn, but can't seem to figure out how to get a hairline border so I could cut it out if I wanted to.
Am I missing something obvious?
The other concern is that I don't have a way to freehand it either as I use only a mouse, and I am not skilled enough to make a nice outline that way.
I have attached the image I am practicing with.
Thank you
The flippers won't be an issue as in general the cut path is an RGB color designated as a spot color to cut. It does not print therefore will not show up, he simply needs a cut path created in an easy manner.
I could be misunderstanding Cwgarg's request - something like the pic below is how I interpreted the question (please forgive my horrid 5 second mouse trace!) I use the method described above to quickly come up with a vector like this to print/cut on our Roland, but with much better results than shown here haha.
That's what's needed, I'd cut is much closer for myntaste.
First off, thank you!!
I was hoping originally that someone would just see this, and maybe get some help, I didn't expect to have a bunch of help, so THANK YOU!
This worked out perfect!
I've been using Corel for a few years (Generally basic engraving, and cutting) and have never once had a need for contour, so this was eye opening to say the least. I very sincerely appreciate the help, thank you!!!!
