Hi friends,
I want to make leather craft patterns for my projects. I want to draw the hole alignments on the patterns. But when I say align, it doesn't align at the intervals I want. My circles need to be 5mm apart and I want the alignment to end at a certain point. I would be happy if you help.
Hava a good day
Draw two circles with the desired diameter. create a blend from the first to the second circle.select path properties > new path in the property bar (with active blend tool) and select the desired path. Then click on blend spacing in the property bar (with the blend tool active) and enter the desired distance.then use ctrl + mouse (with active blend tool) to drag the first circle to the beginning of the path and drag the second circle to the end of the path.Et voilà.
Thank you very much my friend but here comes another problem. The cornes, they arent at the same dimension. Can you look on it?
The distances refer to the path, i.e. for a 90° circle, the curve length is used. I thought you always wanted the same distance between the holes.
Yes, because I make holes in the leather with special tools. The tool I use makes holes at 5mm intervals.
Your machine can only create 5mm holes horizontally, vertically or diagonally and not on a defined radius at a distance of 5mm?
These are the punches that i use.. So the distance between two holes has to be 5mm even in the corners
