Hello everyone, we are desperate. We have 2 PCs and on both of them it appears every time we start, regardless of whether we click Cancel or Open. They are always the same files. What can we do? CorelDraw found several auto-saved backup copies on the hard drive
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\CorelDRAW\25.0\Draw\FileRecovery]
Rename .txt to .reg and run it.
Or open regedit and delete the above key. It will be regenerated when CorelDRAW is run the next time.

What happens if you disable Auto-backup in Draw and then delete the key, will it still be recreated?FWIW, I have disabled Auto-backup and have not seen this issue.
Of corse. But this is not a solution. This is because you haven't more any backup work for next time.
You are right, it is not a solution.Corel has to fix the issue, and hopefully sooner than later (or even better, make Draw stable so we don't need these backups ).I have personally had very little success recreating anything useful from Auto-backups over the years, and since these saves lock Draw for a little while each time, I have disabled Auto-backup since a couple of versions back.Have to remember to save more often but it is worth it, for me.
I have turned auto backup off as one of the first things I do after installing Draw. I have never used it.
