Hello folksToday I noticed that in Coreldraw 2024 with “Fit objects to path” the origin can no longer be selected. It is grayed out. In Coreldraw 2021 it works without problems. See screenshots.Coreldraw 2024:Coreldraw 2021:Do any of you have the same problem? Thanks in advanceCorelMutt
Here's a screen capture of my 2024 (subscription) version fit objects to patch docker.
Hi David,Thanks for taking a look. This has enabled me to work out where the fault lies.If you have not selected “use Anchor Point” in the “Transform” Docker under “Skew”, then “Origin” is grayed out for Fit Objects to Path. This looks like a bug to me, as these two dockers should have no reference to themselves.Use Anchor Point “unchecked”:Use Anchor Point “checked”:Can you check whether this error also occurs in your system? Thanks in advanceGreetingsCorelMutt
Whether I have the use anchor point selected in the transform docker selected or not makes no difference.
In Transform Docker with Skew (see image)?
Correct the use anchor point in the transform docker has no effect on the path docker. The origin is never grayed out.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro fully updated and CorelDRAW 2024 subscription.
Ok I got it, it's the same stupid crap that happens with the objects docker and the desktop. If I activate or deactivate a feature until I click something of press apply the changes don't take place. When I do I see the same behavior as you do.
Thank you for the answer. It's not a bug, it's a feature!
Who knows? It just acts weird!
