I am trying to open a PDF file. Not all the lines around the text is in place. Do anyone have the knowledge to know what is wrong? The PDF is showing as expected in Illustrator and Acrobat reader.

I dont know if anybody saw this comment as it was hidden beneth one of Myrons comments.
I think my file is made online using iText® Core.It says in the properties in Adobe Acrobat "pdf-production: iText® Core 7.2.6 (AGPL version) ©2000-2024 Apryse Group NVI think it is strange that the PDF opens correct when Myron opens it. Why is that? Is there some setting that can astablish this?Is there maby some settings like "Enhance thin lines" in Corel? I receive this files alot, and I dont want to have to do anything about them. Sometimes there are like 60 different shapes on one sheet, and I want it working straight away. In Corel you can make a line 0,0001mm so I dont understand why it could not see the lines correctly. I understand that something is probably wrong in the construction of the file, but I want to know what so I can tell them to change it, or that I could open them correctly like Myron does.
Never heard of iText before (but like you, I noticed it in Acrobat's document properties for this file) and the way I see it there could be a couple of reasons why we get these kind of lines.Either they are using some kind of strange software to create it from the start, or iText is making a mess out of it.Are all files from the same creator or are they coming from multiple sources? If you have good and close contact with them, maybe you could talk to them and suggest another way to create the PDFs?One simple way, that also is free, is to use CutPDF Writer.Download, install, and it will appear as a printer in your Print dialog. Then simply print whatever it is to this printer and you get a PDF that hopefully works better than the one you showed here.Edit: I printed your file from Adobe Acrobat to the CutePDF printer, saved and then opened the PDF in Draw 2025, and the result was a lot better. The frames where still lines and curves (as expected since that's what they are in the original file) but the line thickness is now 0,0091 mm and all parts are there and clearly visible.
As I wrote earlier I have Corel draw graphics suite 2025 64bit. This is why I think it might be a setting or something like that. Because I tried in a very early X3 from 2005 and I get about the same result. Hard to think that it works in X7 and 2020 version, and then doesnt work again in the newest version.

Wouldn't be the first time an update or "improved functionality" has broken important features.I checked and Myron is right, Draw 2020 imports all the lines correctly.Checked later versions and 2021 works fine but 2023 doesn't. Haven't got 2022 installed but apparently it got broken somewhere there.I used the "1252 (ANSI - Latin I)" code page when opening, by the way, but I doubt it should make any difference.Would it be possible for us to see how the online store works?Ser att du är svensk förresten. Misstänkte det när jag såg "nalle" och när du skickade skärmdumpar blev det ju tydligt.Vi fortsätter väl på engelska så alla hänger med men är det något du har svårt att översätta så kör på svenska bara.
Hello. Thanks for the input. I think that the problem is somewhere in the iText, where it seems that the file is being made. I cant provide any info of the store as I dont have any info of how it is beeng produced, I have wondered if there could be something different because of the language of Corel (Mine is Swedish) or maby windows.
( Ja jag är svensk. Skicka pm om vi ska ta nåt på svenska :)
I'm pretty sure it is related to how iText generates the PDF, or possibly how Draw interprets it (normally, Draw works fine with ordinary PDF files), that makes this happen. So, if the only way to get those files is through iText, I'm afraid the only option might be to round-trip them using something like CutePDF.
Yeah I think this is the only sollution for now. I use "Save as other /Optimized" in Adobe Acrobat and select settings to be compatible with Acrobat 4.0 . Then it works. Thanks for all the help
