Cursor randomly sticks on one cursor despite tool selected

I had this issue in my previous version of CorelDraw (X8) which only started after I upgraded to Win 11. I read that Draw X8 isn't Win11 compatible, so upgraded to the full standalone version of Draw 2025.

What happens seems to occur completely randomly, but my cursor will 'stick' on one tool and stay like that no matter what other tool I subsequently select. I can go days without this happening at all - other times, like today, it happened the minute I started Draw.  When this happens, the cursor is like that in all other Windows apps - so for instance, it's currently stuck on the Pick tool arrow. If I select another tool in Draw, the cursor stays as the Pick cursor. Similarly, outside Draw it still shows as a Pick curser - if I roll over a hyperlink, for instance, I don't get the usual 'hand' cursor but it stays as the Pick one.

Usually I have to reboot Windows to fix the issue. Sometimes it will happen multiple times during the day. I have also had this issue using other programs (like Photoshop) but ONLY when Draw is also open - it has NEVER happened without Draw being open.

It's presumably some incompatibility with Win 11, as this never happened when I was using Win10. I had hoped the latest version wouldn't have this problem.

Has anyone else had this problem, or have a solution?
