Hi all,I'm using CorelDraw 2019. In 2018 version, I saw that the objects outside of the page area was shared by all the pages. i.e, I used to keep all the texts, objects out side the page area and pulled it to the corresponding pages whenever needed. But now the objects outside of the page area is accessible by only that particular page, not from another pages. Any help??
In the settings for the Objects docker, there is a setting that is checked by default: "Keep Desktop Objects on Layer".
To have the page/desktop behavior of 2018 and earlier, that option needs to be unchecked.
Really helpful. Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
In CD 2018 and older versions the process worked exactly like an artist worked in the 30's until digital plate setting.
The art boards were taped to the table and type and art were left on the side to be assembled onto various pages.
The change made by Corel in 2019 in this desktop behavior is one of the WTF were they thinking monumental changes.
Clearly they need to reasses not only the depth of their understanding of how their own product is used but their processes used to determine how to provide services to their own client base.
Well said.
