Just a few days ago I was able to insert images within the text of my posts here using the Insert Media button and choosing Browse to select the image from my computer. It's not there now? Did something change in the last few days? Surely we don't have to add it to our gallery first to place it within the text of our post.
Granted, I can create a folder on my website for images, but the extra steps are a pain, when you just want to post a quick screenshot or example.
Is this change permanent or am I overlooking something???
Patti
I can't see it either.
Do you mean like this?
(Options tab, then Add/Browse buttons to the jpeg, or what-ever, file.)
Yours is an attachment; here's the Insert Media button , which let you insert more than one inline image in the post.
Images inserted with this button can be viewed within the emails.
Glad it's not just me! I guess we need a word from Gerard on this, eh?
Edit: I just discovered that there was a scheduled update on the forum that probably has something to do with it.

I do hope we can have the feature back though!
you can already attach a file from your computer, on the Options Tab / File attachment
Will we have the feature back? :(

Hi Ariel, in this way the picture is attached only in the end of the post. what if we want to attach it in between the text?

[/quote] You can upload to a free storage service such as http://www.imageshack.us/ and copy/paste the link. Also, it's allows to resize the image and prevent to use too big images, I know, it's not the best, but at least it's a workaround.
