How can I turn off the particle shop popup ads that show up on my windows 10 machine running coreldraw 2017?
I already went into the settings and set the option to no show me any ads but I still get these popup ads from particle shop.
Ridiculous that Corel does this .
Thanks
Dave
Hello,
am I correct in assuming you also have ParticleShop installed on your system, and not just CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2017? Each product has its own settings when it comes to displaying messages. The following Knowledge Base article should have the instructions on how to configure this for each different product Corel has: https://support.corel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012433607

I have the Particleshop plugin installed in Photoshop.
The "About" menu that comes up when you click on the little question mark icon does not have an option to turn off notifications. Just whether to check for updates or no.
The Knowledge Base article needs to go back to school. There IS NO COREL UPDATE HELPER TRAY ICON in the tray!
This ad (see below, lower right hand corner) has no close button, no way to move it, no way to do anything to it. It is on top of all other content on the computer.
And, IT'S FOR SOMETHING I ALREADY BOUGHT!!!
The only way to get rid of it at the moment is to restart the machine.
I'm going to try the scheduler hint found in the Adobe forums.
I have one thing to say to the person that designed this, being the polite Texan I am... "Bless Your Heart."
And thanks for making us upload and link an image from a website instead of directly uploading to this forum. "Bless Your Heart, too, sweetie."
