Does anyone know the history of the CDX file format? It seems CorelDraw cannot write to the format only import, so were they clipart files like the early .CCX files? Looking for samples.

Not sure but in the early days they had some proprietary formatted fonts also, I would think it's only supported as import because of the old clip art, it was an art storage format. Today you need to keep a few versions of CD on systems to get the full range of version support. They bought ZIP and converted to that in X4.
