Hi, I need to trace images in Corel Draw and export them to PlasmaCAM. I used Corel Draw X4 and 5 for years. My computer recently died so I just got a new laptop. I bought the latest Corel Draw 2019 (student version) and it’s not an option to save as a DXF file. Please advise. Thanks!!!!
In the full version it's there in "save as" in Draw.
If you don't see it, it may be a limitation of the student version, which isn't meant for commercial work....
The student version doesn't include al the features, since it' ony for practice, not for real work
This is for school; need to create dxf files for cnc for my welding class.
Thanks for the reply! They did away with kern, dxf files and reduce the clip art to really old stuff without half of what they used to offer. I can’t believe how frustrated I am. I created an image to cut and it took 1.5 hours and saved it as svg and it’s gone! It imports in PlasmaCAM as a blank document. Hate the 2019 student version of CorelDraw. I still own Corel Draw X4 and X5; have any of you used a old version of CorelDraw with windows 10?
Thanks for the reply; I am using it for personal use at school. The student version of CorelDraw 2019 is useless to me...
