Hi, I need to trace images in Corel Draw and export them to PlasmaCAM. I used Corel Draw X4 and 5 for years. My computer recently died so I just got a new laptop. I bought the latest Corel Draw 2019 (student version) and it’s not an option to save as a DXF file. Please advise. Thanks!!!!
The student version doesn't include al the features, since it' ony for practice, not for real work
Thanks for the reply; I am using it for personal use at school. The student version of CorelDraw 2019 is useless to me...

Be aware that the "Education" version is very different from the "Home & Student" version.
To the best of my knowledge - based on my experience with 2018 and earlier; haven't checked for 2019 - the Education version has the same capabilities as the "full" suite, but is not intended for commercial use. I think - again, from experience with earlier versions - that the license might only allow installation on a single machine.
I bought the student version twice in the past. It was way better than what I got a couple days ago. Need to be able to trace, save as a dxf file, kern lettering, etc. everything I have wanted to do I have not been able.
I don't have any personal experience with the "Home & Student" version.
If you purchased recently, then perhaps it would be worth seeing if there would be any way to "trade up" (at additional cost) to the Education version.
Thanks gotta see my options!
For those who are eligible, I think the Education version is a "screaming deal" at something like $100.
the version I bought was student and home version and it was $118. I think if you never had a copy of corel draw all of its shortcomings wouldn't be so apparent. I have opened a ticket to see what can be done to help me.
