I am looking for files from the Corel ArtShow CD's. Can anyone confirm they are CDX or CPX files?
Thanks.
Tyler
Hi, Have just dug out my Artshow CDs and these are the results of checking their content using CorelDraw 11 -
ArtShow 2 - format: .CDR - readable? NO
ArtShow3 - format: .CDR - readable? Some
ArtShow4 - format: .CD_ - readable? NO
ArtShow5 - format: .CDX - readable? YES
ArtShow6 - format: .CPX - readable? YES
If someone knows the way to read the .CD_ files (just the file type?) please let me know ...
Regards, Brian
This is excellent! Thank you.
Brian,
The CDR format for ArtShow 2 & 3 are the older CDR format and need an older version of CorelDraw to open. The .CD_ format is simply the MS-DOS compression method. It was often used to compress files on disk and uncompressed when installed. There should be software on ArtShow 4 which will uncompress them. If not I believe 7-Zip can uncompress them back to a CDR.
Thanks for your help.
