I'm trying to make a page of name tags where everything remains the same except for the name which I can change. I'm able to copy the rectangle but not the contents. How do I get the whole thing to copy so I can make a page of them? I just clicked and dragged in corel 6 but that's not working for me in corel 19
Perhaps you could share a sample file where you are having trouble copying the rectangle and the other content?
Can you tell me how to do that? Believe me, I know very little.
I was looking though everything and couldn't find the marquee selection. It's weird, because in Corel 6, I just clicked and dragged and there was no problem. Now you will know how dumb I really am. How do I select the multiple shapes and group them? I tried a grouping thing and it didn't seem to work. I think I have problems with the selection process.
Things will get easier after you learn some basics. I understand that it's frustrating if you are new to using some software, and you really want to get something done!
To marquee select, you would use the Pick tool. Left click, keep the mouse button held down, drag to define the rectangular area, then release the mouse button.
I'm able to get the square defined, it's the contents that I'm having problems with. Do I have to define each object whether it is text or the logo and separately move each of them to another box?
Here's a video that might help you get started with selecting objects. It also show how the Status Bar can be used to see information about what you have selected.

Than you for your help. At least I have 3 on a page now. I really learn best by listening and doing at the same time, asking questions as I go along. It's frustrating that there is no telephone help - but I really appreciate you helping me. At least it's a lot better than it was!
