Does anyone know how to shut off all the prepress check boxes that are automatically checked when doing color seps? I have to manually shut them off every time I send color separations to the rip. I would like to do it globally one time.
Ok so you're not fully updated I'm on 23.5.0.506.
In any case I selected the 2 different postscript drivers I have loaded and did the same tests.
File print, select PS printer, tab through set separations and any other settings I wanted, I returned to the general tab and lower in the dialog there is a print style command button I hit save as and name the style.
If I close the file and reopen the style reflects my setting when called. If I close the application and start a new document the style reflects my choices when called.
Under the tools menu options, global, printing you can set that style as default. If you set your printer as default in Windows you'll always upon selecting print always call that printer and your set style.
I checked for available updates and it says that I'm currently up-to-date. However, the print styles suggestion was exactly what I needed to learn about. The PS printer is not the default printer for any of our work stations but I can save the new print style as the default.
Thank you. This has been bugging me for quite some time.
May the force be with you!
