Hi
I have created two letter logo using rectangle tool
But when i am trying to combine these two letter the result i get
Hole of "O" gets filled with solid black color.
How to get rid of this problem
This bug is very very old and comes from stone age, he even has a beard. Try this> group your "T" and "O"> lock them> use the "Smart Fill tool" and fill the "T" and "O">select them> move them from locked logo >weld or combine them
try this waychoose Shape tool (F10) / Reverse direction for one curve fragment (subpath) of letter "O"may be you have to Break apart (Ctrl+K) for "O" before
All you have to do is create the T, the black rectangle and copy the black retangle.
Then round the corners of the black rectangle, paste the original black rectangle on top, and fill it white, size it to match the T. Select the back black rectangle hold shift select the white rectangle and combine the two and you're done. There is NO BUG!

Dear David, this weld/combine issue/bug is present in CorelDraw, at least 12 years. The weld/combine sometimes works perfectly, but sometimes i encountered this problem and i don't know why, i don't know the answer, but is realy strange situation.
I did this as a combine because no weld was required, in fact it would be a wrong choice. This effects is a two second job.
I weld most times to combine over lapped objects and text to create continuous paths for cutting, bending or engraving. Unfortunately some if not many objects are just created incorrectly.
The weld tool is not perfect but most issues are caused by not understanding how the tool works.
