Hi Corelians!
I'm in need to convert my CorelDraw splines into arcs in preparation to export my artwork only as DXF or DWG format for a laser cutting machine XYZ format proprietary software to better control speed in my spline areas which helps with more clean controlled cuts. I'm told arcs helps much like driving a car. When you see a curve up ahead you prepare to slow down your speed to control your car better around that curve. This laser software recognizes the arcs in that manner.
Any help is deeply appreciated.
Aloha from Hawaii!
I have to convert CorelDRAW curves daily to lines & arcs for use in Autocad. Upload a sample CDR file and I'll create a DXF with arcs to verify it works for you.
Just curious. Whenever I import DXF files to Corel circles are made up of line segments (as seen in my "from this" image) instead of perfect circles
I wrote a macro to quickly convert them to a true Ellipse. Are you saying it has to be opposite when going from corel to Autocad?
