Print Merge problem

Hi,
Is it possible to use print merge for serial numbers but merge them onto one page but in specific places?
I'm needing them to be all setup a certain way on one page not on several pages but serialised?
The layout needs to be exact for the cutting machines we use so i cannot make the amendments on the print section.
I have used print merge but it puts them over several pages not into one page.
