Best Practices for Blog Graphics in CorelDRAW?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a pet-themed blog and doing some graphic design work in CorelDRAW for it — especially icons, banners, and cat illustrations. It's been fun experimenting with different vector styles and color palettes.

Here’s the site I’m designing for:

If anyone has tips for creating cute, minimalist pet illustrations in CorelDRAW (especially for web use), I’d love to learn from you. Also open to feedback on how the visuals look on the site

Thanks in advance!

  • That looks like a fun project! For cute/minimal pet illustrations in CorelDRAW, I’d keep things simple with flat colors, clean outlines, and just a few details to show personality (like eyes, whiskers, or a playful pose). Using the Shape Tool to smooth curves really helps keep that soft, friendly look. You might also want to export your graphics as SVG or PNG (with transparency) so they stay crisp on the blog. I checked out your site—the lighter color palette works nicely, maybe try adding a few subtle accent colors to make the banners pop a bit more.
