How can i draw a straight line with the paint tool, the click, then press shift key and click where you want the line concept does not work like in photoshop
In CorelDRAW, the Paint tool doesn’t work like Photoshop where you click once, hold Shift, then click again to force a straight brush line.
If your goal is a straight stroke, here are the options that actually work in CorelDRAW:
Option 1 Use the Straight Line tool (you’ll find it under the Freehand tool). Click once to start the line, hold Shift, then click at the end point. This will give you a perfect straight line every time.
Option 2 Use the Freehand tool, draw the line normally, then select the object and convert it to a stroke style you want in the Properties panel. This is useful if you want a painted look but still want a precise line.
Option 3 If you are working in Corel PHOTO-PAINT instead of CorelDRAW, then Shift-straight-line works only with some tools. The Paint tool usually needs either the Straight Line mode enabled or a different tool that supports straight segments.
So the function is available, but it depends on using the right tool or mode for straight strokes.
