How to set default in Photo-Paint to pixels? + Coreldraw: How to move single handle while drawing with pen tool? and How to change closing curve behaviour of pen tool?

Hi, I'm new to CorelDraw and CorelPaint, but not new to similar software and working with vectors/editors for a long time. I'm struggling to find a way in CorelDraw to do the following though, could somebody please help me?

1) How can we set photo-paint in every unit to pixels? (I managed to do it in CorelDraw via document settings - rulers, but Photo-paint, which has something similar, doesn't have a 'set as default' so I keep losing this setting)

2a) I'm used to drawing with a pen tool in Affinity Designer. The pen tool in CorelDraw is the closest to what I'm used to, but there is one thing I'm really missing: how to adjust (scale/position) a SINGLE handle only WHILE DRAWING, so while using the pen tool (and so without moving the opposite handle with it, so non-sync)?

2b) Not too much of a deal, but not ideal for me as how it is now: when moving with the pen tool to the first node again to close a path in Affinity (and some other vector software) I needed to move in the direction of the start node and further to get a fitting curve at the end. However, in Coreldraw this works the opposite way, here we need to move away from the start node in the opposite direction. I think I would not be the only one finding this confusing/unintuitive coming from other vectorsoftware. Is there any way to change this behaviour in settings somewhere to make it work like (some) other vector software like Affinity (and I believe also Illustrator and some others)?

Thanks a lot in advance!
