I recently installed CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 on Windows XP Service Pack 3. The installation and registration were completed successfully. However, when I try to start the program, I receive an A.R.M. error dialog box and CorelDRAW does not open. I am not sure if this is related to system settings or something else like KfcMenuFr. Has anyone experienced this issue before? How can I fix it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
CorelDRAW A.R.M. is not an error; it's a tool that warns about Windows problems, especially when there are few free resources or insufficient virtual memory. Unfortunately, many people mistakenly believe that seeing A.R.M. indicates a CorelDRAW error, but this is not the case. It's a warning to take steps to prevent or avoid the error. The most frequent causes are usually two:- Too many temporary files on the system (a deep cleanup is recommended at least once a week)- Insufficient virtual memory in Windows (which is unrelated to the computer's RAM). It's recommended to increase the swap file to at least 20,000 or 30,000 KB on the hard drive and disable Windows from managing it automatically (by default, Windows starts with 16 MB, which is absolutely insufficient for a program like CorelDRAW).
