I would like to remove or hide the red frame now used in CorelDraw X8 for paragraphs. When I go to Text to Paragraph Text Frame to deselect text frame nothing takes place.
The frame is visible whenever you have the paragraph selected. Shouldn't see any frame otherwise.
It, in my case, is constant on all areas that the paragraph form is used to contain it.
Whether Paragraph Text frames are visible when not selected - in general - is an option under Options>Workspace>Text>Paragraph Text Frame. The option is named "Show text frames".
If the text has "overflowed" - does not fit in the frame - then the frame is red. The red frame is displayed even when the object is not selected, even if "Show text frames" is not checked.
Thanks. The text appeared to fit fine, so I created a new text frame and pasted in the text and the red was gone in the new text paragraph. Thank you Eskimo, much appreciated.
You would have had a few trailing returns which you couldn't see which would have caused the red warning box
