Hi. I am a tech and I have to reload a workstation that has Corel Draw X8 installed. My client has added many new fonts and I want to know where these fonts are stored and the file name so I can reinstall them when I reinstall Corel X8.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
They can be anywhere. Search *.* TTF, *.* OTF, *.* PFM and *.*PFB
When a font is downloaded and installed in Corel, there must be a place where that installed font resides on the HDD. A folder must be designated for installed fonts. I need that folder
Unless the fonts are installed directly into the Windows\Fonts folder they could reside anywhere on the user's system. The Corel Font Manager application and CorelDRAW itself can pointed to fonts in any user-defined folder on the computer system. That choice is going to vary from one user to the next. Some computer users do a good job keeping their files and folders organized. Many other computer users flat out stink at doing that sort of thing. They'll let countless gigabytes of data build up in the My Documents folder or have the same thing strung out in random places in the computer.
Not with the new font manager. It's a PITA I know.
Come to think of it the font manager will have the location of all fonts.
