CorelDRAW X3 Freezing Up When Copy Pasting Text

I'm facing something like this with Corel PHOTO-PAINT X3 SP2.

I can edit a text layer and copy some text normally. But after pasting, it takes a long time until pasting occurs whether I paste in the same layer or another one.

Am also facing the same challenge on Corel draw x3 on a particular cdr file but not affecting others
