I decided to try Corel Draw and found it to be allot of work. I don't really see the benefit. The tools in Photo/Paint are much better, and you have more access to the scanner.
They are both very important. It all depends on the type of project you are doing. Many different kind of users doing many different kinds of output.
Suggest you check out both programs. One vector (math based) one pixel based. Huge difference.
