I drew an ellipse on a photograph, and want to modify the outline and fill. I used the object pick tool to select the ellipse, and can see that it is active. Where is the menu for modifying the fill and outline? I looked in the Dockers menu, and do not see an object properties docker listed (see screenshot below). Is there another place I should be looking to make this type of adjustment?
.
Window - Tool bars (dockers) - Property bar.Click onto Elipse and in the Property bar you will see all you need: fill, outline, transparency etc. You can do setting to be fit. Drew a new elipse into a new created layer (object).I hope you drew your old elipse into a new layer, throw it, If not you must use stamp to rub it away.
Thanks for the assistance. Is it possible to modify an existing ellipse? For example increase the outline of an existing ellipse from 10 to 20?
It came to my mind third way: to draw exactly ellipse by Path in the upper layer, and then: Mask - Create Mask from Path, and make setting from above. Of course fill both outline and gradient by colours from original ellipse.
OK - thanks you very much for the explanation. The sound you hear is the palm of my hand hitting my forehead as I realize my error. I previously used Photoshop at work, which included some vector functionality. I was in a hurry to put a simple graphic on the image. When I could not modify the ellipse in PhotoPaint, I should have just paused to think for a moment, and would have realized my error, and imported the image into Corel Draw to add the vector image, where you can adjust the ellipse after it has been placed.
I sincerely thank you for your time and patience answering my question multiple times, and also for providing the options to make adjustments to an ellipse from within PhotoPaint.
