In my last version of corel draw I was able to have 2 dockers nested one over the other at the same time.
I used this to have the object manager always open on the bottom third of the docker window, and then would use the top two thirds for whatever other docker I needed at the time,
such as; contour, object properties, allign and distribute, etc.
I cannot seem to find a way to accomplish this in corel 17.
Any ideas??

You can "float" the Object Manager by itself, and then position it on top of another set of dockers.
That's not really "nesting" them; more like stacking them.
Thanks Eskimo, That is what I am doing now, but like you said it isn't exactly the same. With them nested I can scroll them. The floating docker doesn't allow for that.
What gets me is it was a functionality of a previous version that seems to have been removed
you mean like this?
Good news! It still functions the way you want!
Better news! Now I know about it, too.
To get the Object Manager on the bottom, I dragged it until I saw the gray box appear at the bottom of the docker area where I wanted to move it.

Thanks Eskimo, this is something I was looking into as well.
The dockers correctly stack now.
