Hi,
I am experiencing an error on a logo with regard to where the Printer/Cutter is actually cutting in relation to the cutline that appears in CorelDRAW 2017.
It is a circular logo, and there is a cutline on the outermost edge, with a box behind the logo acting as a form of bleed. Inside of the logo is a white ring. When the logo is printed and cut, the entire white ring is cut-out, instead of just the outer black edge.
I checked wireframe and there is no additional cutline. The cutline was very large and went underneath the ring so I thought that was the issue and reduced the size so it was only on the outermost edge, but still the inner white ring was cut out.
Do you know why this is occurring and any possible solutions?
If you are referring to an outline thickness keep in mind it will always cut the center of an outline no matter what "thickness". In order to get it to cut the outermost part of the outline you have to convert it to curves first, then seperate it.
Hi, thank you for replying to my inquiry.
I tried to convert it to curves, but the same issue comes up.
Is there another method to try?
in my image above which line are you trying to cut?
