Hi you all,
after installing the Fall Creators Update of Windows 10 64bit we noticed a delay in the follwoing functions:
When starting - takse very long to open a new document.
Copy an object (rectangle) - takes about 30 sec. (busy clock apears)
Print dialog appears after a long delay of about 1 min.
Export to web dialog appears after a long delay of about 1 min.
There might be other problems, but we uninstalled the update. After reinstalling it again, same problems. Now permernatently uninstalled. Normal behavior again.
Any ideas? Does anyone have similar problems?
Thanks for your response.
New AMD Adrenalin Drivers 17.12.1 showed up today.. Clean installed, but now Corel takes even longer to process opening files and simple cut/paste operations. The mouse cursor will slow to a crawl system-wide during and Corel is now basically unusable.
Before today, I tried installing old drivers all the way back to when my video card was first introduced to work with the drivers and still no luck.
Besides waiting on a fix, my only options now are to either install a nVidia card or revert back prior to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
This is really disappointing to read. That has to be very frustrating!
It reminds me of the "bad old days" when we had to choose video cards based on how well/poorly they worked with specific applications.
I dropped anything AMD about 10 years ago performance is improved and dedicated graphics cards always NVIDIA
the issue are between AMD display driver and Windows 10 Fall Creators UpdateKnown Fix is...use AMD Drivers Version 17.7.2 WHQL (quiet old driver)or..you can still use latest AMD Drivers but when you want use CorelDraw open Device Manager and "Disable AMD Display Adapter", and if you need play games or somethings that need the driver Enable it Back (you can do it without restarting PC)thats all i know for now ;)
I clean uninstalled my display drivers (safe mode- display driver uninstaller) then let windows auto-install my display drivers. It works well enough at the moment, but I get the occasional crash with graphics heavy stuff. PUBG I lowered to low settings and it was fine. Can sit at this and wait for an update from windows.
