I don't understand why I received a message that I have an illegal copy of Coreldraw 2017. When I contacted customer service they wanted to sell me an update of 2018. If I wanted to update I would update to 2018. Is this a scam to make people update to a newer version. They also sent directions on how to fix the issue, but I have no clue how to do what the directions are telling me to do. I've been a loyal user of Coreldraw for years and have never had this issue. Please let me know if this is a scam.
Same exact thing happened to me with my work version of CorelDraw X7. I am hoping this is some bizarre mistake, but I don't enjoy being threatened and held for ransom this way.
Did you resolve this issue or did you just buy an upgrade?
