Could anyone give me the basics, or point me to a good tutorial, for matching the skintone of an object which I am pasting onto another skin tone.
Yhank you

You'll have to translate the technique for Photo-Paint, but this link has a very good tutorial. Basically, you use the Eyedropper tool to sample mid-tones (making note of the Brightness numbers) of the desired skin, and then use the Tone curve dialog to change it on the target photo.

Brian Davies is our forum PP skin expert. He's been absent since May 10, but hopefully he or someone else can add their input.

Hi Patti
Thanks for that.
I've had a quick look at it, and think there is going to be quite a bit of learning and experimentation here, but it does seem to be what I think I want, unless anyone else has any other suggestions?
