Although the minimum system requirements stated are 1024 x 768 for the screen resolution, the trace window will not fit into a 1280 x 800 screen. The "OK" button is not visible, so I can not "accept" the trace. I have tried to resize the window, but have been unable to. Any suggestions on how to get it to work, without increasing the resolution?
thanks
Hi Moryn,
A macro guru (known as Os or WoXXoM in the newsgroups) made a macro for this very problem for Draw X3. I am not sure if it would work in X4 as I have not seen the code for the macro and I don't know if it makes specific references to X3. If you spot any of Os's posts in the forums you might like to ask him if the macro works for X4 and where it can be downloaded from.
Best regards,
I am running at a Dell High Resolution Flat Panel screen at 1024x768 and the Trace window including the OK button fits perfectly on my screen.

I think we have narrowed it down to the DPI setting. I have mine set to "Large Size (120 DPI)". I think that is what is causing the problem, I either have to change to the normal size (96 DPI), or increase the resolution. I have resorted to increasing the resolution when I use trace, and then switching back when done.

I have the exact same problem. My monitor is one of those old style ones. (DInosoaur) I have un-installed 3 times with the same missing ok button. How does one chang the Dpi settings if this is the case....Thanks...

(Assuming you do not have Vista version of Windows)
Right click on your Windows desktop. From the pop-up, click on the Settings tab, then click on the Advanced button. This should bring up another pop-up. Be sure you are on the General tab. There, you should see a drop-down box for DPI setting. This is where you need to adjust your DPI settings.
